If you test the sugar levels level of yours, it reflects the sugar level in the bloodstream of yours at that moment. 15 or twenty minutes later your reading will be very different. Exactly how your body reacts to numerous foods is different to just how somebody else with type 2 diabetes will react... everyone's response to food is different. This is one reason why there is no perfect plan you could be given when you are first clinically determined to have type 2 diabetes.

It can be frustrating, particularly when you're initially diagnosed, Find out - on the main page, to see why if you eat a similar food on many different occasions, the blood sugar readout of yours is different. Allow me to share some of the reasons:

۱. The quantity... unless that you evaluate the food quantity each time, there can be a variation in the amount.

۲. Food combinations... the dimensions of the piece of fruit is going to make a difference, as will regardless of whether you consumed an apple or maybe a banana... the gap in the glycemic index measurement of the fruit impacts how quickly your sugar level will rise. Also a reading will depend where foods you ate together, eg. greater fat can give an increase in your post meal reading but not for many hours... so it'll make a difference whether you have regular fries or baked fries. Or even having protein food with carbohydrates, or even the size variation in the protein food. Or the quantity of the carb meal.

۳. Bodily condition... changes like illness, menstrual cycle, a headache or any body pain will affect your blood sugar level.

۴. Stress... your body responds to any variety of stress, emotional or physical, by raising your blood glucose level.

۵. Alcohol... the way you work with the food energy of yours is altered when you consume alcohol, your blood sugars are going to be lowered.

۶. Test your blood sugars... are these being checked at the same time pre-meal and post meal. If the timing interval between your food and tests actually differ by ten minutes the reading will be different.
